Shiny black and white winter coat, 895 x 560 mm, black plastic with large white piping and quilted interior, by Millie David (no label, attributed in Soho News article) and retailed by Patricia Field, 1979. WITH: Soho News promotional broadside for the December 5, 1979 issue featuring photograph of model wearing this coat. This striking coat with its futuristic design was featured in the article 'Plastic,' illustrated with photos by Steven Meisel, appearing in the December 5, 1979 issue of the Soho News Style Section and also featured in the advertising broadsides for the issue.
