Asal (origin): Kartasura, the capital of the Sultanate of Mataram.

The Keris with a hand forged ‘13 Luk’ waved Wilah (blade), consists of Pamor steel forged in different layers of iron (pattern type: ‘Pedaringan Kebak Wengkon’). Dapur in ‘Sempana’ shape. Small nickel Mendak (cuff) of ‘Meniran’ type, between hilt and blade. Ukiran (Keris hilt) in ‘Nunggak semi Yogya’ shape, and carved from Teak wood. Warangka (sheath) of ‘Gayaman Kagok’ type (‘kidney’ shaped) and made from Pelet Mbelang Sapi wood patiently carved by hand. Gandar (body) (body) with brass Pendok (cover), Blewah Polos in Tombak. The Blewah Polos is transformed to Topengan by placing a small spacer.
Length of the blade, including ‘Pesi’ (tang of the blade): 37.3 cm. (1x)
Note 1: Between 1680 and 1755, Kartasura was the capital of the Sultanate of Mataram, the last major independent Javanese kingdom on Java before the island was colonized by the Dutch. It is commonly referred to as the Kartasura era or period of the Mataram sultanate. It preceded the transfer to Surakarta by Pakubuwana II.
