A German Mask of Disgrace
An elaborately hammered, iron mask in the shape of a devil´s head. One-pieced hammered bowl with riveted stylized devil horns and tongue sticking far out. Remains of red polychrome. Probably 19th century, height 24 cm. Condition 2

Aufwändig getriebene, eiserne Schandmaske in Form eines Teufelskopfes. Einteilig getriebene Kalotte mit angenieteten stilisierten Teufelshörnern und heraushängende Zunge. Reste von Polychromie. Wohl 19. Jh., Höhe 24 cm. Zustand 2
