Grande teca presepiale. Struttura presepiale napoletana in legno e sughero, contemplante le tre scene fondamentali del Presepe Napoletano del XVIII secolo. A destra dell'osservatore viene ricreata la taverna dell'epoca, con in fondo il focolare, ai lati mensole per i vasi piatti, pentole, all'entrata una serie di cibarie appese ( in legno); sopra uno spaccato di terrazza dell'epoca, con una ringhiera in ferro ritorto, vasi ai lati, portafinestra a due ante, e ampio pergolato con uva in cera; a sinistra un paesaggio impervio, secondo i canoni del movimento letterario dell'Arcadia e ruderi di mura romane che evidenziano il luogo ove viene collocata la Natività.
In basso grotte e stalle indicano il luogo dell Annunciazione ai Pastori. Lo sfondo è caratterizzato da un pannello in legno dipinto a ricreare paesaggio dell'epoca. Punti di illuminazione per taverna, grotte e natività.
Il tutto entro una teca a giorno, cm 170x91x151, apertura frontale tramite meccanismo a pistoni e chiusura a chiave.
Great Neapolitan baroque creche's teca, made of wood and cork in a original structure, presenting the three fundamental scenes of the 18th century Neapolitan Presepe. From the right of the observer is possible to admire the rapresentation of the typical baroque tavern, with the fireplace on the ground, designed with the pot's shelves , pens and cups on the sides; at the entrance a series hanged animals (in wood); above a fragment of the typical Neapolitan terrace of the time, with a twisted iron railing, jars at the sides, two-door skylight, and a large arbor with wax grapes; to the left an impervious landscape, according to Arcadia litterature and ruins of Roman walls highlight the place where the Holy Nativity takes place.
Below the Annunciation to the Pastors is indicated by caves and stables. The background is characterized by a landscape of the time painted on a wooden panel. Functioning Lights are placed in the innyard, in the caves andin the nativity place.
Comes with a glass teca 170x91x151 cm, front opening with piston mechanism and keylock.
