A Cased Colt 1849 Model Pocket Percussion Revolver No. 379 For 1853 The barrel with two line London address, cylinder with roll engraved stagecoach hold-up scene, frame stamped 'Colt's Patent' on the left side, rammer, brass trigger-guard and back-strap retaining some original silvering, figured rounded grips, and matching numbers (some wear): in original mahogany case (keyhole escutcheon missing) fitted and lined in navy blue velvet (one divider damaged) with accessories including James Dixon & Sons powder-flask with split-ring for suspension and retaining most of its lacquered finish, blued steel bullet mould stamped 'COLT'S PATENT', and steel cleaning rod, the exterior of the lid (old splits) with replacement shaped vacant brass escutcheon, London proof marks 12.7 cm. barrel For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
