Among them, the Ulysse Nardin FreakWing Artemis Racing Limited Edition stands out. This exclusive timepiece, available in only 35-piece set, first time ever appeared in auction, features a striking combination of cool black and yellow tones, reminiscent of a bumblebee. The watch's name, 'FreakWing,' derives from its movement/minute hand design, inspired by the 'wing' mainsail found on racing yachts. The 45mm-wide case, crafted from black DLC-coated titanium, boasts a black carbon fiber bezel. Unlike traditional crowns, to adjust the time, you flip up a small tab labeled 'FreakWing' and turn the bezel clockwise. Interestingly, the date window, which is usually absent in Freak watches, is executed elegantly on this model. Winding the watch is done via the rear titanium bezel, and the in-house-made caliber UN-210 manually wound movement offers an impressive eight-day power reserve. While not all Freak watches feature tourbillons, Ulysse Nardin playfully refers to them as such due to the visible movement assembly that doubles as the minute hand, rotating around the dial every 60 minutes.
