SIX SILVER-PLATED NAPKIN RINGS ON STANDS America, late 19th century, 1. Napkin ring engraved 'Grace' mounted to sled base, impressed with mark of Wilcox Silver Plate Co. (Meriden, Connecticut, 1865-98), no. 01532. 2. Napkin ring with banner inscribed 'L.A.C.' mounted on sled base, detached from missing harnessed dog figure, impressed with mark of Wilcox Silver Plate Co., no. 01576. 3. Napkin ring mounted to ornate wheelbarrow base, impressed with partial mark of Pairpont Mfg. Co. (New Bedford, Massachusetts, 1880-1900), no. 40. 4. Napkin ring raised on wheelbarrow base mounted to shield-form plaque impressed with mark of J.W. Tufts (Boston, Massachusetts, 1875-91), no. 1537. 5. Tent or blanket-form napkin holder supported by four croquet mallets at corners, all mounted to square plaque raised on ball feet, impressed with mark of Derby Silver Co. (Birmingham, Connecticut, 1873-98), no. 302. 6. Napkin ring mounted on andiron base with fixed open bowls for salt and pepper at rear, a separate frying pan resting on stove plate mounted to top and a bail-handled cauldron hanging from tall scroll bracket handle, impressed thrice with mark of Rockford Silver Plate Co.
