CUP WITH SAUCER
Austria, Vienna, Wiener Porzellanmanufaktur
1st quarter of the 19th century
Bell-shaped cup with high volute handle and a deeper saucer, white porcelain, central classicist painting with an idyllic motif of mother and child in a landscape, sepia tone, gilded borders, handle, interior of the cup and floral motif on the bottom, written verse on the saucer from pastoral play Aminta by Torquato Tasso: "Congiunti eran gli alberghi / ma più congiunti i cuori.".
H. of cup 8,5 cm, Ø of saucer 14,5 cm.
Blue underglaze marks "Bienerkorb", impressed year "1824", resp. "1814" and number "12", resp. "50" and "27".

Glockentasse mit hochgezogenem Volutenhenkel und tieferer Untertasse, Weißporzellan, auf der Schauseite der Tasse klssizisierende Malerei mit idyllischem Motiv: sitzende Mutter mit kommendem Kind in Landschaft, in Sepiaton ausgeführt, Gold-Bordüren, Henkel, Interieur der Tasse und Floramotiv auf dem Boden, im Spiegel der Untertasse schwarzgeschriebener Vers aus der Pastorale von T. Tasso, "Aminta": "Congiunti eran gli alberghi / ma più congiunti i cuori.".
H. Tasse 8,5 cm, Ø Teller 14,5 cm.
Unterglasurblaue Marken "Bienenkorb", 3-zahlige Jahreszahle "1824", bzw. "1814" und Nr. "12", bzw. "50" und "27".
